"Hera Pheri" is a popular Bollywood comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2000. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles, with supporting performances from Tabu, Gulshan Grover, and Om Puri.

The story revolves around Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty), and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal), three individuals from different backgrounds who are in desperate need of money. Raju is an unemployed youth, Shyam is a struggling musician, and Baburao is a debt-ridden landlord.

One day, Raju receives a wrong call from a kidnapper demanding ransom money for a wealthy businessman's granddaughter. Seeing an opportunity to make some quick money, Raju and Shyam decide to pose as the kidnappers and demand the ransom themselves. They involve Baburao, who becomes their partner in this misadventure.

As the story progresses, the trio finds themselves entangled in a series of hilarious situations and encounters with quirky characters, including a quirky underworld don, a seductive woman named Anuradha, and a police officer trying to solve the kidnapping case. The film showcases their comical attempts to outwit each other and resolve the chaotic mess they have gotten themselves into.

"Hera Pheri" became a massive success due to its clever humor, memorable dialogues, and the brilliant performances of the lead actors. It is widely regarded as one of the best comedy films in Indian cinema and has achieved a cult status over the years.
